Again with the not-melting-down

on

So remember how six months ago we found out that Eric was going to have an internship at InFocus? And how we moved to Wilsonville for the spring and summer? Well, now it's fall. And the internship is ending. And we are moving again, down to Corvallis for Eric's last two terms of school. Ever. (unless he someday decides to go to grad school...but that's another story)

When are we moving, you ask?

In 11 days.

How much have I packed?

Not one single flippin' thing.

Sure, I kind of have an excuse with the surgery and all, and the fact that I'm still not supposed to do anything difficult or lift anything heavy...but still. In less than two weeks a moving van and a crew of strong and helpful people will be at our apartment to move all our stuff down to Corvallis. I just hope that I have some (packed) boxes for them to move by then.

Oh geez. Gallons of pity being poured your way from me. It's so annoying to move that often, I know. Here's hoping you can stay put for awhile.

Unfortunately, I have to do this at least one more time, in six more months. The apartments we are moving to in Corvallis are college-owned student housing, and we have to move out of them a month after Eric graduates.

But, after that, Eric should have a real job lined up, and maybe we can buy a real house, and really settle down for awhile.
